Consignment Guidelines

We accept consignments for our premier auctions that consist of quality items with a certain level of value. Our premier auctions are held in our gallery, all items are photographed, described, listed in a catalog and entered on the Internet.  Bidding is done in our gallery by our in-house bidders plus live via the Internet.  We reserve the right to turn down any items.

We offer options for consignment fees which will be discussed at the time of consignment. As a general rule, we do not charge for advertising, the use of our gallery, photography or listing on the Internet.  There may be exceptions to this if a client wants more than our extensive advertising plan.  Advertising is generally in 3 major industry nationwide newspapers, local newspapers, 4 Internet auction sites, facebook.com, craigslist.com, proxibid.com, fliers mailed to our large and growing customer list, email blasts to our large and growing Internet customer base and proxibid.com email blast.

Reserve prices are strongly discouraged and not allowed for items under a $300 value.  To cover the cost of our services, including advertising, there will be a "no sale" fee for items that do not meet the reserve.  Reserves are only accepted IF the reserve is at a reasonable level, agreed upon by the seller and Cady Auction Gallery & appraisal.

Please call ahead to arrange for drop off.  Pick up is available for larger collections.  A fee may be charged for pick up, depending on the overall value of your consignment.

Items will be sold in the condition in which you drop them off.  We do not clean or repair items.  All items must be in good workable condition, the only exception would be antiques .  Antiques in need of repair will be inspected and accepted on an individual basis. We reserve the right to refuse any items.
