Our full service auction gallery strives to assure the success of a friendly, enjoyable and fun auction for our buyers.  We pledge to uphold the rigid standards of ethics and integrity established by both the Iowa Auctioneers Association and the National Auctioneers Association.  We provide only the highest quality professional services, and our reputation as honest and trustworthy auctioneers is one of our premier goals. 

CONVENIENT LOCATION:
Midwest location in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Cedar Lake.
                  
INDOOR FACILITIES:
Auctions are held at our indoor heated and air conditioned gallery located on Cedar Lake in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Our environment is convenient and respectful, fully enhancing the buyer’s experience.  No matter what the weather may bring, be comfortable in our auction gallery with ample seating, packing station, restroom's and lunch stand.

AUCTION PREVIEWS: 
Our auctions have designated, predetermined set preview times so buyers can examine the items they are interested in before the auction begins.   Buyers can make an informed decision to bid and bid with confidence.

STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOGLOGY AUCTION GALLERY:
Computer Check in and Checkout is a simple, quick (no long lines) process. Check out is fast and efficient with a detailed invoice of items purchased.  For buyer convenience, most auctions will be catalogued with online printable catalogues.  Photographs of items can be viewed before the auction on Proxibid.com where buyers can also bid live from the comfort of their homes with live streaming.  Photos of items are viewed during the auction from our gallery floor on a big screen television so the buyer always knows what is currently selling, no guessing what is being auctioned due to low visibility.

CATALOG AUCTIONS:
Auctions are cataloged and numbered for buyer convenience and reference.  The auction is conducted in order with the catalog so there are no questions or concerns regarding order of sale.

ABSENTEE BIDDING:
Absentee Bids are always welcomed! We offer on site absentee bid forms, absentee bid forms via email, select online absentee bidding via Proxibid.com and phone bids.

GIFT CERTIFICATES:  Need a gift idea?  Gift Certificates
are always available.

How do I bid?
You can register for a bid number before the auction, during the preview or after the auction has started.  When an item comes up for auction, and an amount is called by the auctioneer that you would pay for the item, raise your bid number card so the auctioneer will see that you want to bid.  The floor bidding assistants will also help you by gaining the attention of the auctioneer.

Absentee bidding will also be available via the  Absentee Bid Form, phone or live internet bidding via Proxibid.com.  Please see Terms and Conditions.

How do I know what items will be auctioned?
Most of our auctions will be catalogued, numbered and photographed for buyer convenience and review, these will be under the Upcoming Auctions tab.  A list of items available for that auction will be posted at least a week before the auction date. 

 Is there a starting bid?
The auctioneer invites an opening bid for each item at a price level low enough to stimulate competitive bidding while high enough to speed the sale along.  It is more art than science.

Will I be able to understand the auctioneer?
Yes.  Our auctioneers call the bids in a very easy to understand manner.  Plus, our Floor Bidding Assistants will assist you when you bid by getting the auctioneer’s attention if needed.  Work with your Bidding Assistant.

What if I am out of town on the day of the auction?
If you will not be attending the auction, you can use our Absentee Bid Form or for most auctions bid via ProxiBix.

Our state of the art technology will bring buyers' competition worldwide so your items will achieve a fair market value.  We offer real time, live internet bidding, absentee bidding via phone or from our website form.  Our gallery offers comfort for our customers so bad weather or “standing” does not drive them away.  All auctions have a designated preview time so customers can examine the items they are interested in.

RESEARCH:
Mike and Deb Cady are both Certified Personal Property Appraisers, and know how to research your items value.  Stating correctly “what” the item is in the description, is vital in achieving the fair market value

MOVING SERVICES:
Whether an entire estate or a few items, we can pack and transport your items to our auction facility in a safe manner.  Contact us for further details. 

MARKETING SERVICES:
We strive to market your items in a professional manner using nationwide specialized  auction industry newspaper ads, local newspaper ads, auction Internet websites, signs, online absentee bidding, brochures, catalogs and mailing lists. 

SECURITY:  For your peace of mind, our gallery is secured and monitored with motion detectors and cameras.

SELLER SETTLEMENT:
Seller settlement includes a computerized detailed statement with payment in a
timely manner.

What is True market value?
True Market Value is the value set by an actual sale between a willing seller and willing buyer.  (Taxes are based on the value paid in dollars).
